What Obama Should Be Told

Thanks to The Pajama Underground for posting the video of Daniel Hannan, MEP, at the U.S. Parliament. Go watch it! (As I have yet been able to figure out how to successfully embed video...)

I've changed a few words around to make the statements appropriate for Obama:

"[You have] the ability to say one thing in this chamber but a very different thing to your voters."

"Perhaps you would have more moral authority in this house if your actions matched your words and you stopped relying on a tele-prompter with fluffy lingo to hoodwink the less intelligent citizens."

"The truth, Mr. President, is that you have run out of our money."

"You tried to spread the blame around...well it is true that we are all sailing together into the squalls...but not every vessel in the convoy is in the same dilapidated condition. Our hull is pressed deep into the waterline under the accumulated weight of your debt."

"It's not that you're not apologizing - like everyone else I've long accepted that you're pathologically incapable of apologizing for these things - it's that you're carrying on willfully worsening our situation, wantonly spending our children's futures, our 401K's, our life savings."

"Mr. President, you cannot carry on forever, squeezing the productive bit of the economy in order to fund an unprecedented engorgement of the unproductive bit."

"You can not spend your way out of recession or borrow your way out of debt."

"You are the devalued president of a devalued government."

I watched this guy tonight on the news............. He rocked!!!!!!!!! He spoke the truth in Parliament and on O'Reilly..... O'Reilly needs to shut up more and let his speakers talk MORE!!!!! But this guy was awesome. He spoke the truth, he made sense, and he was spot on!!!!

It's amazing that anyone would think that Obama is a great speaker. His speeches are empty buzz words. What Daniel Hannan said is compelling, persuasive, and honest. If only we had the same caliber of statesman in the US.

Thanks for the mention.

I'm not sure about other video sources, but if you want to embed a clip from YouTube:

Go to the YouTube page where the video you want to embed is posted for viewing. Look to the right. There is a small box there listing both the URL and the HTML string needed to embed. Simply copy the embed string and paste it at the point in your post where you wish the video to appear, as though it were just another paragraph.
That should do it.

I love this guy. Have seen him on Glenn's show and one or two others. Fantastic.

Also love your blog. Good to know there are folks in new york, young women even, who are not in a slobbering lvoe affair with B.O.
