The Left is So Crafty!

They are at the top of their game, I tell you. The liberals are the masters of politicizing what a normal, logical, common sense-utilizing person would view as a completely nonpartisan event. See: swine flu. Yes, it was only a matter of time until a left-wing media outlet blamed none other than the GOP for the what, 8 cases in NYC and a few elsewhere in the US? (Before I saw this story on News Busters, a moron I went to high school with posted as his status on Facebook, "GOP stripped $900 million for pandemic preparedness from stimulus package. Oops." Guess he's not the only one making brilliant observations.)

Anyways, MSNBC's (no, I wasn't shocked it was MSNBC either) Ed Shutlz said, "
Well, here we go again - Republicans are playing politics with our health. This kind of stuff just makes my temperature go up. I'm boiling over this - as many as 150 have been killed by this flu in Mexico. Cases are popping up allover the United States." Boil away, Ed.

"They play politics with the money, they play politics with the stimulus package to the tune of $870 million for pandemic flu that was stripped out." Listen. It was stripped from the $timulus package because it WASN'T GOING TO STIMULATE THE ECONOMY. Hello!?

"'This is just not a health scare, it's a national security situation,' Schultz grimly declared."
Then take it up with your man Janet.

U.S. Called to Save the Day Again!

I guess it's just one of those things that you have to deal with when you're the most powerful nation in the world (but how long will that last?).

Me: What is the core of the problem in the Middle East?
King Abdullah of Jordan: What is the Israeli-Palestinian dispute?
Me: I'm sorry, your majesty, but the correct answer is Islamic extremism.

Yep. And King Abdullah is positive that if the U.S. doesn't play a stronger role in the peace negotiations, there's going to be a new war. I'm not an expert, but it seems to me as if there's already a war going on. Abdullah added, "If it's left to the players, the Israelis and the Palestinians by themselves, we're not going to get anywhere — it can only happen if there is an American umbrella with a determined American president." I was pretty young when what I'm about to mention happened, but wasn't Bill Clinton a "determined American president" who attempted to restore peace (wait, restore? Has there ever been peace?) to that region? And didn't that attempt ultimately fail since we're back to square one? Like I said, the root of the problem is Islamic extremism, and until Iran stops funding terrorist groups and until Obama realizes that these people want to kill us, not have brunch with us, there won't be peace.

But you know what, Abdullah's comment is so....infuriating. It is just another example of someone begging us to help, and then when we do help, we get criticized. And everyone's always telling us to mind our own business. I say let Israel take care of it. Their patience is thinning; they are extremely capable; and I'm pretty sure they're getting tired of all this mierda.

When My Generation Takes Control

I will be afraid...very afraid.

So many of my peers have been brainwashed by the largest, most successful liberal indoctrination camp there is: the public school system. Now that high school's over, they're really in their element: in college, surrounded by liberal professors and liberal classmates. Their beliefs go unchallenged. They are not required to think critically since it takes little to no effort to write a paper on how George W. Bush was the worst president in the nation's history and get an A. I, on the other hand, do have to think critically in order to best refute the liberal ideologies of my non-Western history professor who just happens to be one of the most intolerable liberals on the planet (The Most Intolerable Liberal award goes to a friend of mine who's an aspiring lawyer and politician...I shudder at the thought of him running for office but then perk up at the idea of running against him).

Much to my chagrin, the majority of students on my campus are liberal. You should have seen the Obama inauguration propaganda. There were flyers all over the place and a "celebration party" during the inauguration. Needless to say, I had better things on my agenda.

Getting down to it, my concern is, what's going to happen when my generation becomes the generation that's in charge? Will there be any conservatives left? We see all of the awful things that are happening now with Obama in the White House and the Democrats controlling both houses of Congress. We see how when we the "extremists" speak out against big government and big spending, we are demeaned by unprofessionals, cheerleading for Obama, who have sunk lower than ever before. We see the country that we know and love on the highway to socialism. All I can say is that I think when its my generation in Congress, it's going to be much, much worse than it is now. I certainly hope that won't be the case, but unfortunately, the future is looking very dim.

(I don't like being pessimistic but how can I not be with all the trouble that's been going on?)

Saddened by Today's Youth

Kids these days...except for me and a few others.

My philosophy class had a paper due today and the professor just asked each of us to say what our topic and thesis were, and then briefly elaborate (is that an oxymoron?). I'd say about half the class picked moral issues for their papers: abortion, death penalty, stem cell research, euthanasia. I died a little inside when 4 out of the 6 who did abortion said they were pro-choice. But then one of the pro-lifers said abortion was acceptable in cases of rape (even though she totally contradicted herself by saying first that the fetus was a human and deserves rights....so a child whose father was a rapist isn't a human and doesn't deserve rights? I can't see the logic there...). 3 out of the 4 who did euthanasia were for it. One guy did stem cell research and was for it, but I shot him down and educated the class by telling them that embryonic stem cells have cured nothing but there are over 60 cures from adult stem cells. (And then my boyfriend chimed in that they need government funding because private investors don't want to invest in a lost cause.) At least the few who did the death penalty were for it because they recognize justice needs to be served (and judgment should be left up to God).

It's just sad that life has been devalued so much that people think it's okay to kill an innocent, unborn child just because it's "unwanted," or to kill a person who's chronically ill. Actually, the euthanasia thing is really cloudy for me...I haven't made up my mind completely on that one. But basically, life has been devalued and it's really, really sad. =(

Torture - IT WORKS

Call me an extremist, but I think torture works!

According to the CIA, only three detainees ever have been subjected to water boarding (which, I've heard, is one thing the boys in the Navy have to undergo); those detainees being two top al-Qaeda leaders and another terrorist. When one of the top leaders, Khalid Sheik Mohammad, underwent waterboarding, he revealed that there would be a 9-11 style attack in LA. So thanks to waterboarding, a terrorist attack in LA was thwarted.

I just want to list the other forms of "torture" that was used:
sleep deprivation
dietary limitations
temporary confinement to small spaces

Let's say it was the other way around and it was al Qaeda that had some of our guys, they'd face:
drilling hands
severing limbs
being dragged behind a car
eye removal
blowtorch to the skin
suspension from ceiling and electrocution
not to mention beheading

Two wrongs don't make a right, the liberal says? We look bad to other nations, the liberal says (see: Rosa Brooks, who thinks we were attacked because of our "torture techniques")? I don't think you can equate water boarding (which was used on 3 guys) or small space confinement to any of the terrorists' techniques!
The terrorists can handle a little sleep deprivation and water boarding. ESPECIALLY if it's going to prevent the loss of innocent American lives.

Feinstein Corruption

Don't expect the MSM to cover this. You see, she's got that (D-CA) after her name, which makes her infallible.

And this is why we need term limits.

Tax Info

Does someone know where I can get facts/statistics/etc. on how much taxes will be increased in the next 4 years, who's getting tax cuts, who's getting their taxes raised, etc.? Much appreciated!

Tea Party Pictures!

More on my Facebook =)

McCarthy Was Right.

On his radio show, Ed Shultz (never heard of him) declared, "The country does not feel the same way the teabaggers do...Welcome to the House Unamerican Activities Committee, 2009 version...I can just envision Senator McCarthy somewhere in the depths of Hell just smiling about all of this."

I'm going to use this opportunity to give a little history lesson. McCarthy was right. Exhibit A: The VENONA Project. It proved McCarthy's suspicions and yet, shockingly enough, received little to no coverage. Many of you may be hearing about this for the first time (just as I did when I first read Ann Coulter's book Treason, which is excellent by the way). Roosevelt laughed it off when he was informed that there were communists in his company. Hoover gave Truman a list of known communists in the government and Truman ignored it. Hiss, the Rosenbergs, and others were guilty as sin. But high school history teachers (including mine a few years ago) and liberal professors still tell you that McCarthy was crazy liar. Oh how liberals love distoring history.

New York City Tea Party!

It was such an amazing experience, being with thousands of Americans (we took up 4 blocks) in the greatest city in the world rallying against big government and big spending. There were some really great signs and the speakers made excellent points. It's only the beginning!! (I wish I could put some pictures up but I don't have my USB cord..)

One sign said, "I believe in the Constution. I'm a 'Right Wing Extremist.'" And on that note, can I just say that Janet Napolitano should jump off a cliff? Honestly, this woman is more worried about returning veterans and some conservatives who rally peacefully (notice how none of US broke windows or rioted) than she is about Islamic radicals or "undocumented workers." Then she goes and says, "I was briefed on the general topic, which is one that struck a nerve as someone personally involved in the Timothy McVeigh prosecution." Wait a minute, Janet - are you comparing us to Timothy McVeigh? %^&*$@!

Liberal Tolerance Is In An Abundance! (Not.)

Dozens of protesters showed up when former Colorado congressman Tom Tancredo was giving a speech against illegal immigration at UNC. "There's no debate, no space for hate," they chanted. Tancredo ended up leaving after a window was broken and clearly couldn't continue. Apparently police used a small amount of pepper spray and shot tazers into the air (no one was tazered). That tells you how bad it was that police had to resort to such means.

It's really sad how indoctrinated people have become thanks to the public school system and colleges and universities. You know, all the liberals preach is tolerance and acceptance, yet they are the biggest offenders. They only like free speech when it's used to promote liberal ideas.

And the anchorwoman in the video said he was there giving a speech against immigration. Uh, hello, he was speaking out against ILLEGAL immigration. Liberal media is at it again...

North Korea Documentary (Weird Stuff, folks)

This is a documentary from inside North Korea. It's really, really interesting. I haven't watched all the parts yet but it's great so far. The North Koreans are obsessed with their Great Leader and North Korea itself. They do nothing but talk about things that happened in the 50s. Problem is, they have NOTHING. They somehow think they won the war and that it's the Americans who are the aggressors. The American filmmaker is on a guided tour where everything is a set-up.

Homeland Security: Watch Out for Right Wingers!

I don't have time to write up a whole post because I have class in 10 minutes, but this is really getting out of hand.

Apparently, a right wing extremist includes "groups that reject federal authority in favor of state or local authority...and individuals that are dedicated to a single-issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration."

WHAT ABOUT LEFT WING EXTREMISTS?! You know, like the environwackos who insist on shoving climate change doctrine down my throat? Or the pro-choicers? Or ACORN?

Reason #26 why I'm attending the tea party tomorrow:
I get a chance to exercise my right to assemble while I still have it. Because God knows I'm a right-wing extremist and I might do something awful, like exercise my right to free speech!

"America Has Become Our New Enemy"

A Somalian pirate told Reuters, "America has become our new enemy." Actually, YOU became our enemy first. Where do you get off on trying to take over an American ship and then holding its captain hostage? Did you think there would be no repercussions? (Well, maybe they were hoping Obama was as stoneless as Clinton.)

And al Shabaab, a Religion of "Peace" rebel group, fired mortars at a plane carrying Representative Donald Payne. Fortunately, no one was harmed. Al Shabaab condemns both piracy and anti-piracy patrols by international navies off Somalia (uh, what?). It said the attack on Payne's plane was a message to the United States but did not directly link it to the hostage issue.

Okay, so we have an Islamic rebel group "sending messages" to the United States. Shouldn't it be the other way around? America has been openly attacked. If you ask me, that's an invitation to fight. There should be no mercy and no quarters for any enemies of America, espeically enemies who openly say they're sending messages to us in the form of attacks!

I am very grateful to the navy seals and the other brave men and women in the armed forces who protect us and freedom. Screw the pirates and terrorists.

Tea Parties Face [Expected] Liberal Criticism

On MSNBC's April 10th "Countdown," fill-in host David Shuster tried to dissuade Americans from attending the April 15th tea parties by giving a "juvenile and overdone" description of the event. The problem is that the true meaning behind the tea parties seemed to allude Shuster. The idea that Americans are upset that the government is stepping in and using their tax dollars to rescue the irresponsible (aka, the neighbor who bought the house he couldn't afford), seems to be impossible for liberals to contemplate. And a guest on the show said that the tea party movement came from the top down (but couldn't name a single organization responsible for the organization of any tea parties). The tea parties are by Americans, for Americans. And that's that. I'm going to one in NYC and I'm so, so exicted! Anyone else?

And a very big thank you! to Rick Santelli for inspiring nationwide patriotic sentiment and motivating people to DO something about it.

And I hope everyone had a very happy and blessed Easter. :)

ABC's "If I Only Had A Gun"

I was watching LOST tonight and a commercial came on for ABC's "If I Only Had A Gun," a report by none other than Diane Sawyer and David Muir, which is to be aired on April 10th. I wasn't surprised at it's anti-gun agenda. A young woman was interviewed who said even if she was armed, she'd probably be on the floor crying during a crisis, or something like that. Then the real kicker is showing very young children playing with guns (toy guns, I would assume). Obviously seeing children playing with guns and shoving them in each other's faces in black and white and in slow motion is disturbing. I have a problem with pretty much everything in the article hyperlinked above. But particularly....

"When it comes to protecting yourself, you may think “if I only had a gun.” But if you had a gun, could you protect yourself in a crisis?"
Actually, if I ever get a gun (which I very well may do), I'll receive proper training and whatever else is necessary, so yes, I would be able to protect myself. And might I mention the story I covered a few weeks ago about the man in a Burger King who shot an armed robber? Yeah. There are plenty of other stories like that one where a concealed weapons carrier saved the day.

"In the two years since Omar Samaha’s sister, Reema, was murdered at Virginia Tech, he has been fighting to close the gun show loophole..."
All I will say is this: if someone on campus (security, a student, whoever) was carrying a firearm, that tragedy may have ended differently.

"It is not uncommon to hear news reports about young people playing with their parent’s guns and accidentally shooting their friends, sometimes killing them. Statistics show that more 18-22 year olds die from accidental shootings than any other age group. Shouldn’t college aged kids know better than to play with a gun?"
A) Parents should keep their guns LOCKED AWAY in a SECURE LOCATION where CHLDREN CANNOT ACCESS THEM. Hiding a firearm on the top shelf of the closet doesn't work, people!
B) I am a college student and can tell you firsthand that COLLEGE STUDENTS ARE IDIOTS (except for me, obviously). Generally, they should not be looked to as role models or as examples of people "smart" enough to know not play with guns.

Basically, I hate Diane Sawyer and those like her whose sole purpose in life is to wreak havoc in the United States by advocating limitations on freedom and promoting the liberal agenda (wait - was that redundant?).

Communities Printing Own Currency

Communities in the United States have resorted to printing their own currencies in order to keep cash flowing.

The early states had different currencies and then they did away with it because it made things more difficult than they had to be. And isn't printing your own money illegal? I feel like this could easily get out of hand and present fraudulent opportunities.

NKorea Launches Rocket

In defiance of a 2006 UN resolution and several nations including the United States, Japan, and South Korea, North Korea launched a rocket which is believed to be a cover for a test of its long-range missile technology - one step toward eventually mounting a nuclear weapon on a missile capable of reaching Alaska and beyond. The rocket flew over Japan and landed in the Pacific Ocean. Obama said earlier this week that the launch would be "provocative" and said the U.S. would "take appropriate steps to let North Korea know that it can't threaten the safety and security of other countries with impunity."

Number one, North Korea would be completely off its rocker (oh, wait...) to bomb/nuke/attack anyone. We could destroy them in one night (one less thorn out of the world's side!).

Number two, let's hope Obama really does have the stones to take the appropriate action. Being a narcissist, he probably won't like being defied the way he just was, so it's likely some sort of action will be taken.

Number three, I was talking to a [liberal] friend about this, and she's concerned, like anyone would be. However, when I suggested retaliation, the liberal part of her came out when she said, "Makes me feel bad for all the innocent people who had nothing to do with it." Yeah? And what if, just what if, North Korea bombed us first and innocent Americans in Hawaii, California, or Alaska were killed? I guess we better not retalitate because there are innocent people in North Korea! As far as I'm concerned, they're not innocent (except really young children) because they all basically worship Kim Jong Il. I'm almost 100% sure they would back him all the way because he's their "Great Leader."

Palin Rips Levi for Appearance on Tyra

Levi Johnston, the father of Bristol Palin's child, made an appearance on Tyra Banks' show. He apparently talks about his relationship with Bristol (who cares?), what it was like being thrust into the spotlight at the RNC (oh the horror), and why his engagement with Bristol ended (hmm, maybe because she realized he's a worthless, irresponsible dope?). I saw a short clip here and the kid sounds like a moron. The Palin family's rep made this statement.

“Bristol did not even know Levi was going on the show. We’re disappointed that Levi and his family, in a quest for fame, attention, and fortune, are engaging in flat-out lies, gross exaggeration, and even distortion of their relationship. Bristol’s focus will remain on raising Tripp, completing her education, and advocating abstinence. It is unfortunate that Levi finds it more appealing to exploit his previous relationship with Bristol than to contribute to the well being of the child...Bristol realizes now that she made a mistake in her relationship and is the one taking responsibility for their actions."

Just another attempt to smear Sarah Palin. The media is doing everything it can to destroy her because they're afraid that she'll run and win in 2012. I also saw a story about how her sister-in-law recently robbed a house for the second time. What does that have to do with Palin? Bottom line: politicians' families should not be targeted. Levi should be ashamed of himself. He and the media have no class.

Afghan Law Legalizes Rape

After 7 years of making strides in the fight for women's rights in Afghanistan, a new law (reports conflict over whether it has been passed or is still in consideration) may basically allow women to be raped by their husbands. It would apply to the country's Shia minority and would make it illegal for a woman to refuse her husband and would forbid her from leaving the home without her husband's permission.

It is appalling that a law like this is even considered today. But that's Islam for you.
