Will The Real Hillary Clinton Please Stand Up?

Israel's Jewish leaders are furious with Secretary of State Hilary Clinton because of her sudden change in temperament towards their country. In February of 2000, Clinton said, "I am a very strong supporter of Israel." But clearly we know she was lying through her teeth. When she was First Lady, she had Mrs. Arafat over for lunch and old Bill was always cuddly with Yassir.

"I liked her a lot more as a senator from New York," Assemblyman Dov Hikind, D-Brooklyn, said. "Now, I wonder as I used to wonder who the real Hillary Clinton is."
I never wondered. I always knew she was a lying anti-American liberal.

Publisher of the New York Daily News and member of the NYC Jewish Community Relations Council Mortimer Zuckerman said, "I don't believe we should be in a position at this point to do anything to strengthen Hamas." It's too bad Hilary doesn't believe the same thing; for all we know, she's pro-Hamas.
"I feel it's unfortunate that they don't continue the policy of the Bush administration, which was much more pro-Israel," said Akiva Homnick of Jerusalem. So do I, Akiva. So do I.

Environwackos Hate You

I conserve water, turn off the lights and heat, and recycle. But apparently, that's just not good enough!
Now, I'm supposed to buy toilet paper that irritates my bottom because "American taste for soft toilet roll is 'worse than driving Hummers.'"  The article mentions that according to the NYTimes, luxury brand toilet paper sales have risen 40%. But who cares about growing profits during a recession? Pshh.
If someone wants to buy cheap toilet paper, that's great. But I will not be told what I can and can't wipe my own ass with.

I Hate Congress

Full of complete idiots. We vote these people in who have absolutely no experience in the fields they make decisions and laws on (perfect example: the economy). Yesterday, Congress went on yet another $pending $pree and approved a $7.7 billion spending bill for Hawaiian canoe trips, research into pig smells, and tattoo removal. You can't make this stuff up, folks!

In his budget request,
Obama could ask for as much at $750 billion for the financial industry. That's more of our money being poured into a black hole. And Obama has some nerve to talk about "fiscal discipline" and then turn around and spend billions. The estimated running deficit by the end of September 2009 is 1.75 trillion dollars. Glad the government cares.

The Führer's Speech

I watched about 20 minutes of it and decided there were better things to do than watch a speech being constantly interrupted by unnecessary applause. Apparently it was interrupted 62 times. And of what I did hear him say, he said nothing new - except that the US invented the automobile - LMAO. He should make sure his speech writer gets his facts checked next time.

In one of my classes, the professor asked if anyone watched it, if anyone thought it was good, and if anyone thought Obama has failed already. Obviously I said he failed. And then this kid (who just so happens to be black) says, "Why do people think he's failed as a president?" With a tone that suggested, "How could the Savior fail?! Blasphemy!" And then my professor pointed to me and I said, "It would take me way too long to answer that." I would have if we didn't have a test (and some kids were complaining and they wanted to take it already). Damn, how I would have loved to go on a political rant.

I saw before the speech yesterday that the Dow and the NASDAQ rose...but then dropped after his speech. Sean Hannity's been saying this is the Obama recession, and I'm pretty sure he's right.

You can always count on Biden to embarrass the Obama Administration (even though it does that a lot on its own). He couldn't remember the website recovery.gov. Unbelievable.

Another solider in Iraq has challenged Obama's eligibility as president. Excellent! He wrote, "I believe the case you [Orly Taitz, the attorney working on the legal cases] are filing could very well determine if we are in fact a Constitutional Republic or a nation of mob rule." Mob rule. Well said, sir.

Secretary of State Hilary Clinton is unhappy with Israel for not providing aid to Gaza fast enough. If I was Israel, I would tell her to shove it.

New $timulus Package?!

Now, I know the gas crisis isn't really an issue for the time being, but the message of this cartoon is the same: we're going to end up taxing our way out of this mess because he has no fiscal responsibility (which makes me wonder how he gave a speech on fiscal responsibility?)

I heard a little while ago that the Democrats were talking about not one, but TWO more $timulus packages. So today I read on Yahoo Finance that they have proposed a $410 BILLION spending bill, full of little pet projects. According to polls, the public doesn't like when politicians spend its money on these projects, but hey, what do the politicians care? Not like they're supposed to be representing the people who elected them or anything.

In Houston, officials have proposed the "Credit Score Enhancement Program," which will give "up to $3,000 grants to individuals who are trying to qualify for mortgages through the city's homebuyers assistance program. City officials say some applicants fall short of eligibility by only 10 or 20 points on their credit scores, and paying off some debt balances can quickly improve their numbers."
WHAT?! Okay, think about the logic here. Clearly these people fell behind on payments. If you give them money to bump up their credit score and they buy a home, who's to say that they won't fall behind on those payments as well?! In fact, they most likely WILL fall behind on those payments and then be thrown out onto the street (but good thing ACORN believes they have a "right" to a home!). How about they EARN a good credit score like everyone else? And what about a nice grant for the people who have been ON TIME with their mortgage payments? Oh, that's right - we're supposed to take their hard-earned money and give it to the people who bought homes they couldn't afford. Sorry, I forgot.

An assemblyman from San Franciso has proposed taxing pot - finally! (For the record: I do not smoke marijuana.) If this ever came to pass, California would become the first state to regulate and tax marijuana the same as alcohol. I have been suggesting this for a LONG time. If pot is legalized, prisons would be freed up of inmates charged with possession; it can be taxed as heavily or even more than cigarettes (yayyyy money for the state!); the weed black market is eliminated and there's one less thing for people to kill each other over; it might be safer (ha) than weed purchased from a dealer cause if you buy from the state, you know it's not laced with anything; it can be regulated and no sales to anyone under 21; so many other reasons to do this.
Opponents say: more p
roblems with drug dependent adults; heavier teen use; increase in driving while high. Driving high would be punishable the same as driving drunk; you cannot be addicted to marijauana so I don't know where that one came from; and plenty of teens smoke it already! In fact, if it's legalized, it'd be just as hard for them to get it as alcohol (which, I suppose, is somewhat easy since you hear about high school/college parties all the time; but you can't completely stop that). If teens want to screw with their lives, who cares? They've all heard the dangers of alcohol/cigarettes/weed. If they're stupid enough to do these things and/or do them in excess, well, I guess it's survival of the fittest.
According to the article, "California's pot crop is a $14-billion industry...If so, that could mean upward of $1 billion in tax revenue for the state each year." Just one more reason to legalize!

What is going on?

An 11 year old is being tried as an adult in the murder of his father's 9-months-pregnant girlfriend. Apparently the kid shot her in the back of the head and then hopped on the bus to go to school. The victim's family have said that he may have been jealous; he was the center of attention for quite some time and then his father's attention was diverted to the girlfriend and her other 2 children. What's ironic is that the victim urged the boy's father to buy the shotgun for him, which was to be used for hunting outings between the father and son.

I am absolute FED UP with liberal idiocy. They simply CANNOT admit when they're wrong! I asked a friend of mine who happens to be a liberal, "There's a one word answer for this. Do you really think it's okay that the Obama Administration took control of the 2010 census from the Dept. of Commerce, even though there is absolutely no basis for them to do so, and in doing such they can redistrict to their advantage?"
Then he gave me this who paragraph of b.s. saying that a one word answer would not suffice and that he wasn't going to answer that question. He then proceeded to personally attack me. These liberals are so stuck in their ways and think they're so right that they can't even openly admit when someone of their party is doing something blatantly unconstitutional. If the Bush Administration had pulled a stunt like this, liberals and the media would be all over it.

I'm tired of the government spending my money to reward people who made bad financial decisions.

And this ACORN woman that was on a show on Fox News kept saying how people have a right to a home. Excuse me? Since when does anybody have a right to a home? If you buy a house you can afford, by all means, buy that house! But if you buy a house you know damn well you can't afford, you have NO BUSINESS buying that house and you do not have a claim to responsible people's money to bail you out of your SELF-INFLICTED economic woes!

At this point, I'm looking forward to a civil war to unseat this dictator.

I am seriously worried...

...about my future.

As a college freshman, I should have a lot to look forward to, right? In three years, I could be starting what I hope would be a finacially rewarding career; or, I could be paying massive amounts of taxes to a goverment that decided to spend over a trillion dollars on a stimulus plan that really is not going to stimulate the economy. (I don't care what you say: $1.2 billion dollars for NASA will not stimulate the economy. But I guess it's too late now - it's already been signed. And apparently there are two more stimulus bills in the works. Fabulous.) What bothers me the most is that a lot of my friends who are in college and are going into college are Probama. It seems to me that they're not looking at the long term effects. Do they think it's going to be fair if, after they spend thousands of dollars to earn a degree which will enable them to get a job, the government says, "Hey, we're gonna take some of your money and give it to the guy who didn't go to college." (And don't start with that "What if he couldn't afford to go to college?" crap.) To put it in simpler terms, you get a 100 on your last test and the kid next to you only got a 60. Your professor says, "Hey, I'm going to take 20 of your points and give it to the other guy so you're both equal." Obviously you'd have a problem with that, and don't try and tell me you wouldn't.

What else bothers me is that no one questions Obama's (and Congress') actions which are blatantly unconstitutional. Handing out billions of dollars to failing auto industries is an abuse of power, as well as handing out billions for irrelevant programs (and just handing out money in general).

I was hoping that maybe in two years, Republicans would be voted back into Congress and the Democrat mess would be cleaned up. Looks like that may not be the case. The Obama administration moved the responsibility of the 2010 Census from the Department of Commerce directly to the White House. According to Rep. Darryl Issa (R-Calif.), "By no means is there any basis, any legal or Constitutional basis for the President to direct the Census." So where is the uproar? And what does this mean? It means, folks, that the Democrats can redistrict to their advantage. According to Rahm Emanuel, Obama's Chief of Staff, "If you think redistricting is always partisan and political which it is...it's going to be on steroids this time." WHAT? Is anyone else hearing this? If the Republicans ever pulled a stunt like this, Corey Dwyer and others like him would be ALL over it.

Among other news, the NY Post had to apologize for the dead chimp cartoon. Here's the background information: in Connecticuit, a 200 pound chimpanzee mauled a woman and was shot dead. The cartoon shows the dead chimp with the caption reading, "They'll have to find someone else to write the next stimulus bill." Clearly it is a political attack on Obama, but I think that by NO MEANS does it imply the he should be shot. I mean, come on. One woman apparently ripped up a copy of the Post and said, "How dare you violate the president of the United States?" How? With my freedom of speech, that's how. I'm not an expert, but I don't think that woman had a problem with any of the cartoons portraying George W. Bush as a monkey. Every president has been left for derision. This isn't anything new.

I think this is enough for one night.

February 6, 2009...

...was the date I wrote this.

Once again, our government officials show off their idiocy.

Some politicians have been talking about reinstating the "Fairness Doctrine." What it is is a violation of our first amendment rights to freedom of speech and press.

"Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., told radio host and WND columnist Bill Press yesterday when asked about whether it was time to bring back the so-called 'Fairness Doctrine': I think it's absolutely time to pass a standard. Now, whether it's called the Fairness Standard, whether it's called something else - I absolutely think it's time to be bringing accountability to the airwaves. I mean, our new president has talked rightly about accountability and transparency. You know, that we all have to step up and be responsible. And, I think in this case, there needs to be some accountability and standards put in place.'

Stabenow's husband, Tom Athans, was executive vice president of the left-leaning talk radio network Air America. He left the network is 2006, when it filed for bankruptcy, and co-founded the TalkUSA Radio Network."

Hmm...Air America was Al Franken's radio show...And it went bankrupt. I wonder why.

The great thing about American is that we have rights. Our freedom of speech and our freedom of the press are two of the greatest rights we have. We all too often take for granted that we can say whatever we want about the government without worrying about being gunned down. First the government will monitor what talk radio hosts have to say; then they'll monitory newspapers and news stations; then it'll be us.

Quote of the day, courtesy of Nancy Pelosi:
"500 million Americans lose their jobs every month."

January 28, 2009...

...was when I wrote the following in a Facebook note that received quite a bit of attention.

Firstly, let me just say that it is NOT the government's job to just hand out money. Where in the constitution does it say that the federal government can hand out billions of dollars to companies and corporations? If the government stayed out of the economy to begin with, we wouldn't even be having this problem. It was under the Clinton Administration, by the way, that the government said that banks HAD to give mortgages to people who couldn't get them. That's where Fannie Mae an Freddie Mac came from. What do you think is going to happen when you give a loan to someone who can't pay it back?

$887 billion dollars could be the cost of a new "stimulus" plan. The Republicans' plan could create millions more jobs than the Democrats' at about half the cost. But the Republicans' plan won't pass because unfortunately, there's too many Democrats in the House and Senate.

There are so many aspects of the new "stimulus" plan that have absolutely nothing to do with creating jobs. For example, as much as $25 million in new trails or all terrain vehicles, $335 million for preventing STDs, and even money for polishing federal monuments. Sure, these are nice, but do they create jobs? Are those investments going to help our economy in the long run? Absolutely not. And why does the government think it can just hand out all this cash? Ever hear of the Weimar Republic? I suggest you look it up. Hopefully we won't end up going that way. If the package will not stimulate the economy quickly and effectively, it should be thrown out.

Global warming is such a joke. Al Gore's complaining that we can't let this economic recession distract us from trying to save ourselves from doom. Too bad 23 deaths have been caused recently by the COLD weather. And what did we have today in the northeast? Snow and ice. Some places recorded the coldest temperatures in DECADES and the crazy libs are still screaming global warming. Give me a break.

Our new Vice President Biden mocked Supreme Court Justice Roberts by "joking," "My memory isn't as good as Justice Roberts'." President Obama did not seem amused. The crowd reacted with nervous laughter. I find it ironic that Biden dares to mock a Supreme Court Justice when he made several blunders on the campaign trail such as: "When the stock market crashed, Franklin D. Roosevelt got on the television and didn't just talk about the, you know, the princes of greed. He said, 'Look, here's what happened.'" Hmm. Problem is, Hoover was president at the time of the crash and there was also no television yet. Biden also seems to think "jobs" is a three letter word. And he doesn't know the first article of the constitution from the second.

One more thing!
What did Obama mean when he said, "We've got to have a civilian national security force." ?
Rep. Rahm Emanuel (D-IL) is the Obama Administration Chief of Staff. He said in an interview: "Citizenship is not an entitlement program. It comes with responsibilities. Everybody somewhere between the ages of 18 and 25 will spend three months of basic training and understand a kind of civil defense...This is not a draft. This is a universal service."

The only difference between this and a draft is that women will be serving as well. We have a National Guard. This is about government control, not self-protection. Is this what you signed up for when you voted for "Change?" [And you have to ask yourself: Why would Obama need a national security force?]
